How to Read a Saddle's Serial Number

Have you ever wondered what the numbers and letters stamped under your saddle's flap mean? Before a saddle leaves the workshop, it is assigned a serial number. Not only does this serial number indicate the specifications of the saddle's build, but it also helps to keep track of when the saddle was made for warranty purposes. Every saddlery has its own unique identification system, meaning that serial numbers may differ significantly between brands! As such, the information in this section applies only to the brands we work with: Amerigo, Meyer, and Ucha. For information on decoding saddle stamps from other brands, we highly recommend getting in touch with your local representative for the most accurate information!
