Why Choose Wool?

Pressure Distribution
Thanks to its soft and malleable nature, wool easily conforms to the horse's anatomy, reducing pressure points along the back. Wool pads offer a gentle base of support for even the most sensitive horses.

Shock Absorption
Wool fibres are naturally crimped which allows them to trap air easily; this creates tiny air pockets between fibres which act as tiny springs to dampen concussion and absorb shock under the saddle.

Moisture Control
Wool is hydrophilic, meaning that it readily absorbs moisture. When your horse sweats, the porous wool fibres pull humidity away from the skin, which helps prevent overheating under saddle.
Felt CARE INSTRUCTIONS
After each ride, use a soft-bristled dandy brush to sweep dust/debris from your pad. If necessary, use a clean, damp cloth to wipe frothy sweat and dirt from the underside of the pad. Hang to dry.
Handwash in cold water with a mild, wool-safe soap. Handwashing should be reserved for crusty dirt/sweat buildup that doesn't brush off easily. For detailed step-by-step washing instructions, click here.
